We’ve officially hit a major milestone in the 2026 election cycle: this weekend marks exactly 100 days until Election Day.

Why These 100 Days Matter

As part of our ongoing summer organizing and voter engagement program, the Ohio Democratic Party is launching a statewide canvass event to connect directly with voters across our communities.
What to Expect when You Canvass
If you’ve never knocked on doors before, don’t worry, you won’t be flying solo. Canvassing is one of the most effective and rewarding ways to make a tangible difference in an election.
- Full Support & Training: Every launch starts with a brief training session to go over talking points, answer questions, and walk you through the door-knocking app.
- Buddy System: First-timers can pair up with experienced volunteers so you always have backup.
- Meaningful Conversations: You’ll be talking with voters about the critical issues shaping Ohio’s future, from local initiatives to statewide seats.
Did you know? Direct, face-to-face voter outreach remains the single most effective tool for increasing voter turnout on Election Day.
