Bring a Valid (Unexpired) Photo ID
Ohio law requires voters to present an accepted photo ID to cast a regular ballot. If you forget your ID, don’t leave the line! You can still cast a provisional ballot, which will be counted once your eligibility is verified.

Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • Current Ohio Driver’s License
  • State of Ohio Photo ID
  • Ohio Interim ID from the BMV
  • U.S. Passport or Passport Card
  • U.S. Military ID Card

According to the Ohio Secretary of State, all photo IDs must include an expiration date that has not passed, a photograph of the voter, and the voter’s name, which must match the name listed in the poll book.

Make a plan, bring your ID, and participate in one of the most important parts of our democracy, casting your ballot.

Let’s make our voices count, Delaware County!
