The Columbus Dispatch published a story about the incredible turnout in Delaware County in the 2020 General Election. 83.76% of registered voters in Delaware County voted! While Democrats may not have had the wins we wanted, our chair, Peg Watkins, told the Dispatch this is great new for our area.
“There are many more Democrats (in Delaware County) than what people think,” said Peg Watkins, chair of the county Democratic Party. “There’s been this mentality that, ‘I’m the only Democrat in Delaware County.’ We’ve really worked against that.”
