Today is National Voter Registration Day

Today we celebrate National Voter Registration Day, a reminder of how powerful our voices are when we show up and participate in our democracy. Voting is how we shape the future of our communities, our state, and our country—and it all starts with making sure you’re registered.

In Ohio, the deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration is Monday, October 6th. That means now is the perfect time to:

• Check your voter registration status

• Update your address or name if it has changed.

• Register to vote if you haven’t yet.

• Request your absentee ballot

It only takes a few minutes, but it ensures that your ballot will count this November.

Early in person and absentee voting begins on Tuesday, October 7th!
