Volunteer to canvas, write postcards, get a yard sign on our website [link]

With 46 days remaining until Election Day, and only 19 until Early Voting starts, we are gearing up to support Issue 1 on the November ballot. Opportunities to volunteer range from putting a sign in your yard, to phone banking, writing postcards, and knocking targeted (friendly) doors.

Our Top Priority is talking to voters. This is the most effective way to get voters to turn out.

Sign up for a canvas event, come early to get training and find a Canvassing Buddy or Driver.  Statewide, 400,000 doors will be knocked. Our first scheduled Canvas will be on September 30 https://www.mobilize.us/ohdems/event/580937/

Host a Canvas! Canvas Captains help to organize our canvassing efforts. Working you’re your regional Data Captain, you will assemble lit packets, provide a location for volunteers to pick up the packets, and record who takes what turf.

Be a phone banker! Call voters virtually over Zoom every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. You can sign up for phone banking shifts using this Mobilize link. For this effort, Ohio Democrats plan to make more than a million phone calls!

Yard signs have been ordered! We expect to receive 1,000 Vote YES signs by the end of this month. We will distribute these by region. Our website will again have information on how to donate and how to connect with your regional sign distribution location.

We recently received a new batch of Democrats t-shirts. If you have one, wear it whenever you can. If not, you may want to get one or order as a gift for a friend or family member.
