Judge John O’Donnell who is running for Supreme Court of Ohio started off the meeting with a brief conversation about how an incident restored his faith in humanity and it was imperative that we have a change of leadership in the WH.

Judge Jennifer Brunner who is also running for Supreme Court of Ohio said that despite the pandemic, she has been having good conversations with people. She hosts Friday Lunches where she interviews judicial candidates from all over Ohio and she wants to cover as many such candidates as she

can. She emphasized that we cannot control the spread of pandemic but we can make an impact on the elections. She said it was important for the Secretary of the State to anticipate the needs of the people and request the legislature to simplify the absentee voting process. She said it would be a good move to adopt a set of voters and follow through with them through texts and social media until they cast their votes. Judge O’Donnell and Judge Brunner got more votes than their Republican counterparts in the recent Primary Elections which she thought was a great beginning to their campaigns.

Judge Brunner swore in all the members who had been elected to the Central Committee through the election that ended on April 28th 2020.

Heather Karr nominated Louise Valentine as the temporary Chair. The motion passed 64 to 3.

Andre Washignton moved that the nominations are closed and Melanie Farkas seconded the motion. The motion passed 64 to 3. Based on the number present, Bill DeMora said a majority (50% plus 1) would require 35 votes. The list of people who voted and how they voted will be available sometime after this meeting.
